When you hire me I will first make a demo. You can decide based on that if you want to hire me. I can always rewrite it until you like it, but you may not use it unless you hire me (and ask!).
If you want to take it a step further you can have me turn said demo into a full song (this will cost at least $5 - look below). I can again rewrite it. If you decide to take me on I will charge for the song normally. If you dont take me on or just dont use the song I would ask for a $5 composition fee.
In the list, I show the pricing of my music for entertainment use (e.g Itunes) should you want to buy it (have it composed) you modify the price as shown:
For 1x the price shown I will compose Non-Exclusive:
A non-exclusive soundtrack is owned by me but you have lots of use rights. You may use it commercially but may not sell it directly as a soundtrack. I may use it however I want, given I credit its original purpose.
For 2x the price shown I will compose Semi-Exclusive:
A semi-exclusive soundtrack is a joint ownership. I may use it commercially if crediting and advertising its original purpose. You may use it in any way, excluding selling it on a music distribution service as a single piece (unless it is part of a collection based on original use, e.g My Game Soundtrack album would qualify. Any other selling via a music distribution service would not.)
For 3x the price shown I will compose Fully-Exclusive:
A fully-exclusive soundtrack is owned by you. I may only use it non-commercially (an OST album may be discussed). You may use it in any way you want, providing you do not claim to have written it or sell it as an individual track solely (rules back in semi-exclusive). Otherwise every right is yours, you decide who can and cannot use it. Additionally you get priority in my to-do list and don't get put on the backburner.
A track bought from an MDS can not be used commercially. A track bought from something like the marketplace (price shown) comes with a non-exclusive liscense, with unlimited owners. Contact me if you wish to purchase existing music with a semi or fully exclusive liscence.
In all cases MDS release MUST be discussed and agreed with me FIRST.
